Lamb to the slaughter is a story that I read 1 month ago.It is about a lady who killed her husband becuase he wanted to divorce her. She did not want him to leave her so she killed him. She hid the evidence by creating her own alibi. So, did she get away? That is up to you to find out! This story is very interesting and you should read it.
This is a short journal by Patrick:
What should I do? Should I tell her the truth? Or should I just leave her without telling her anything? Well, let me tell her the truth. Patrick arrived home that evening and told his wife, Mary Maloney, that he wants to divorce her and marry another lady. Want does she think? Would she leave me? I don't know. All of a sudden, there was a thump on my head. I was dead on the floor.

Benjamin, your story is good in a sense that you ask questions to yourself and as a reader, I can understand what is going on in Patrick's mind. However, one flaw that you made in the story is that you switched between the first person's view and the third person's view. This is a journal entry, not a story narration so it should be written in the first person's point of view.
